1. Work on your looks some- better shape, upgrade your style & fashion, and be more decisive and confident (will take personal growth not just acting confident).

2. Fish in a different pond. Towns Baton Rouge’s size and smaller may have some talent available, but the numbers are low and competition is high a lot of the time. A bigger city like Phoenix, or Houston will have way more opportunities for you.

3. Read the book Models. Helped me a ton back in the day.

Met women socially through volunteering, running events, attending conventions, at businesses I called on, on aircraft flights, through friends, at health clubs, getting my hair cut, my pet groomed, at the theater, at my attorney's office, on the golf course, at a Mav's game, at the pool, tailgating, wakeboarding with friends, weddings, funerals, buying furniture, at a car auction, walking my dogs, camping, and too many bars to remember them all.

My antenna was always up, and I could always tell if a woman wanted to be chatted up. Hard to explain, it's just sort of a 6th sense you get. I could pick up a signal and use it to make small talk. It's a lot easier to be forward and interesting if you fill your life with activities and are the type that can laugh, tell a good joke, have stories to tell (true or not, doesn't matter as long as it's interesting and isn't bragging), be interested in listening to her stories, be in alignment with her opinions, without being pandering, and make your moment with her seem like you two are in your own movie together and whatever is going on around you is just NPC's creating background noise.

Funny thing, I met my wife at a party for a large business in Chicago. We weren't introduced, but we both wanted to meet.There was just "that look" and thirty minutes later, we were laughing and sharing stories together. There must have been 300-400 in that room. I don't remenber any of them.

Best thing was, we both lived in Dallas, just one block from each other, and probably wouldn't have ever met in Dallas.

You just need to broaden your horizons and stop worrying about it. Get in tune with your surroundings.
