He'll have some bats for sure.

But gotta nail a pitching coach...and get some arms..
This is still SEC, gotta have arms

what? Gonna Mainieri coach his way to a Natty next year.
what does that even mean.
Isnt the coaches job to put the best possible roster on the field? With the advent of the transfer portal, its changed the way recruiting and roster management are done.

It's going to be a great off-season for the Tigers! Lots of anticipation and exhilaration coming to Tiger Baseball! Always liked Pawl, but it seemed his coaching was getting stale since the loss to UF in the CWS.
The Box will be back to rocking very soon!

We have had 0 confirmed transfers as of now besides LSUE kid. It sounds likely we get Berry, but not sure the chances are we get any others.

I am sure he's going after pitchers from the portal, but as of now we don't have that much in terms of transfers that are roster confirmed.

Such a dumb comment. I’m hopping he can “Mainieri” his way to a championship. Not that many coaches in history have been able to

I mean He coaches those transfers.

His incredibly detailed approach to coaching hitting is going to be insane with the raw talent LSU has.

Our hitting coach goes from a guy making his living on Camp Fees to the HC at a Traditionally good baseball school.

I just love the fact that hopefully he’s not so loyal to the players to a fault that if he sees a player not up to standard he doesn’t hesitate to bring in someone better. Win at all cost type of shite. PM was almost too loyal and to his own detriment

I don't care how good a player is, never stop developing.
Morgan and Crews, as good as they were, still have room for improvement. This along with every other player coming back from last seasons team.

That is kind of a fricked up way of putting it, but ok.

A lineup of..

Crews RF
Morgan 1B
Berry 3B/DH
Dugas LF
Doughty DH/3B
Arnold 2B
Bianco CF
Thompson SS
Milazzo C

100 HRs just in that lineup next year.

What do you think?

What other incoming players can crack this lineup?

Interesting, stay like you are and don't go from good to great is how we should roll.

Great to have experience but everyone can get better so yes he will need to focus on development no matter who he has or where they come from.
