The only thing people are talking about is ayton who, while not as bad as Simmons or fultz, is not playing the way a 1st overall pick should perform and is at best the 3rd best pick in his draft class.

In one of the best draft classes in a very, very long time.

He’s a very good player. You could have just done the thread without including him. Just add Wiggins or Bennett instead and people would be far more likely to get your point.

Ok so he should have been picked third maybe?

You gotta factor in team fit, the rest of the draft class, etc. this shite isn’t always black and white.

What’s the point of doing a redraft that’s 20/20? You can do this for any sport, any year and I’m sure find picks that should have been made at different times. It’s a dumb exercise.

Ayton is a traditional big man that’s almost out of place in today’s nba. Offensively, he may be playing the least important position. Any deficiencies are more attributable to the style of the modern game rather than his shortcomings.
