I’ve sat in the bleachers for a Super Regional where LSU fans facebooked an opposing teams right fielder, found his sisters name, and shouted some pretty lame shite about her for the entire game

I don’t understand why a segment of our fanbase feels the need to defend a douche like vitello at all costs. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve seen on this board. You are not allowed to say anything negative about him without the cool crowd defending his honor.

If that’s the worst they did then not even close. Gainesville is by far the worst opposing campus I’ve been to in the SEC. Fans were literally trying to fight us walking into the stadium multiple seasons. I’ve been cursed out multiple times by 18 year old sorostitutes while in Oxford, Auburn and Tuscaloosa. Every school has their fans including us. You gotta take it in stride.

I don't care if he's considered an arse, but I feel like it's exaggerated by many who oppose him.
I don't get extremes on either side of it really.

I’m just calling out high and mighty LSU fans think that Tennessee fans are any different from the LSU fan base as a whole

The evidence of him being a douche is limited to him defending his team. Nothing else. You watch his pressers or see how he responded to PM calling his team and fans classless, then you know he’s not anything like people try to paint him. Then you have quotes from his players about running through walls for him. Not sure why a fan base would hate on that… probably because his team went 5-0 against us and they can’t handle that.
