Desantis will be president in January of 2025

GOP will further distance themselves from Trump over the next few years

I am not against Desantis. I will say I am basically skeptical of any politician I think can be bought off which was one of the differentiating things about Trump.

We know Trump got the most votes a republicans has ever gotten. We know he will actually get things done in the face of the corrupt political machine. Trump is the best President the country has been blessed with in a lifetime.

Yep, trump should keep playing king maker in the house and Senate, and let Desantis run for president. Would be a hell of a tandem.

No they won’t. The GOP is useless, but they’re not stupid. They will spend the next four years trying to convince people that their chosen candidate is Trump lite. Probably Nikki Haley.

I don’t think there are many if any conservatives on here who would be disappointed in DeSantis, but it would be sweet to see Trump win it to watch the leftists do their Linda Blair impressions.

Agree with this. Media and left like to promote the idea that "we" have a cult like love of Trump. Maybe that holds true for some people? But I think most love Trump because he loves America. And he loves her over his career. That's not something politicians typically do. Which is a damn shame.

DeSantis is Trump with more political savvy and way, way less baggage. If you want the suburban white women back, and not have half the appointed officials in government actively working against the president, DeSantis is your man.
This.

I love Trump and appreciate what he accomplished, but DeSantis is the future of the party.

Trump is already proven, that's why I want him again. I know what Trump is going to do because I've seen it already.

That being said, I have no problem with DeSantis whatsoever, I think he'll do good things.

Why were you embarassed to post the actual vote? You're suck a huge steaming pile of shite.

The company used an “approval method” that allowed participants to vote for multiple responses for each question

The top five candidates, in order of most approval to least, were: Ron DeSantis (74%), Donald Trump (71%), Sen. Ted Cruz (43%), Mike Pompeo (39%) and Sen. Tim Scott (36%)

Running head to head they aren't going to be at 74% and 71%. Dumbass!

Are you people fricking stupid? Why the hell would you switch your trust to fix this cluster frick of a country to someone that has come up through the political ranks? We can't compromise our way out of this by working out deals with people that need to be hanged. Barr, Durham, Kavanaugh. Don't go chasing the next shiny object while the fricking house is burning down.

Tactically it’s a insanely poor way to go.

I don't think that Trump has any other choice because McCarthy isn't going any where.

McCarthy is a GOPe snake in the grass, that flatters Trump because he seeks the power to be Speaker.

It has been said Trump called him, "My Kevin".

The establishment isn't fully going away. Turtle has his hit squad. McCarthy is sucking up to try to fool people. So even if DeSantis is a politician. He is better then McCarthy.

That Trump falls for this guys flattery has me wondering...

Kevin McCarthy: Trump wants me to be speaker

You can't get rid of the snakes all at once. But is Trump aware that McCarthy isn't really for Trump?

sub white women is a rino rove fairy tale. They went overwhelmingly for Trump in a stolen election. Want Trump back now and DeSantis for 24. Trump may be too old in 24

There is no rule or law that doesn’t allow a presidential/VP ticket from being from the same state. If Trump wants desantis as his VP it’s not a problem

If they did, then they could not get electoral votes from Florida which could cause a pretty big issue.

DeSantis ranks above Trump because he would be the better candidate. People are beginning to see this.

You can’t play nice with the deep state. Politicians gonna politician once in the White House. You’ll learn one day……well maybe not if you haven’t by now.

DeSantis is a good candidate and I would be more than casually enthusiastic about voting for him.

Trump was a good president but allowed some things to get away from him (should have fired a lot more swamp).

He probably learned from his mistakes but his age is a factor. I don’t care that the Democrats cheated to put a potato in the White House, I don’t want to choose a candidate where we’re gonna hear about his age every day from the left.

I’m trying to think of an avenue of attack against DeSantis and there isn’t an obvious one I can see besides “muh racism” which we will hear about any GOP candidate.
