Cars, music, food. The last one is a little irritating. "I'm a foodie." Yeah, no shite, everyone is. The alternative is death by starvation.

By that logic, Houses. Everyone should only worry about having 4 walls and a roof.

oh shite! I've been way ahead of the pretentious lifestyle, I've had my bathroom stocked with stolen hotel soap and shampoo for almost forty years!

ETA: towels and light bulbs too

This is so true - people will go on and on about food and food trends and all this ‘new’ stuff they assume I don’t know (my husband is a chef )

Maybe the alternative is to eat the most boring food possible to stave off hunger. You only eat rice and beans, and maybe the occasional egg or plain chicken breast, just because rice and beans aren't really nutritionally complete.

I don't like up to that ideal completely, but I seem to be headed in that direction. Food shouldn't be a source of amusement.

I’m commuting distance to Atlanta. Hell, I grew up in Monroe wanting to fly for Delta. Hometown airline and all.

They’ve hired a shite ton of younger types in the past 5-7 years though. I’d be lucky to crack the top 10% of their list by retirement. Give me AA or UA now. Much more turnover.

Taking a dump.

If possible, I’m using my own thrown and not some public toilet that’s probably had some homeless guy’s unwashed arse sitting upon it.
