Lafayette Christian Academy coach Trev Faulk on Jordan Allen:
I can't recall a completion against Jordan last year," Faulk said. "One thing that made him stand out is that he would take a really good receiver and erase him out of the game. Right after the playoff game against Episcopal ended, he said, 'Coach, I want A.J. (Johnson),'”referring to the highly-ranked Newman receiver.
"In that next game, Newman targeted Johnson 14-to-15 times with zero completions. Jordan is very competitive and wants to go out and cover all of the opponent's best guys. He wants the top dog on their team. We play a lot of press coverage which really enables him to lock receivers down.
"Jordan can move inside and play the nickel with his physicality and tackling ability. When we play Wing-T or veer teams like Acadiana, normally we would sub in an extra lineman, but because of how physical Jordan is, we're able to leave him in. He is a complete defender."

From all that Clean I definitely want him in this class

He’s committing on July 17

Clean it just doesn’t feel like LSU. What do you think?

Seems like LSU is going in another direction. I’m thinking Miami

Happy for him if that’s the case. I know he’s not local but anything on Shemar Stewart and why his visit didn’t go well or are you all Louisiana prospects?

That sucks I was really hoping we offered last week

I don’t have info on anything other than Lafayette area prospects. I’m just making a guess about Jordan Allen.
Jack Bech was at the 7v7 today at STM. Every time I see him, it looks like he’s gotten taller

Clean - can the Tigers pull Fitz West?

He’s committing Saturday at 1 PM. I’ll be there.
I still think he’s eventually going to land an LSU offer.

I see a lot of Miami stuff on his pages. Maybe he will be the late bloomer in the final signing classz

I think Miami will be a player for St Martinville 2023 WR Harvey Broussard, as well
Posted on 7/13/21 at 7:00 pm to Mr Clean
Do you think he will sign with LSU if LSU offers late or will he feel a type of way if we offered too late?

Miami offense is not a pass friendly offense. Its based off the qb read option.

LSU does have a built in advantage with the LCA connection and Malik Nabers being his cousin.

He’s already accustomed to that

Coach DeRouen will chunk it, but he’s always going to establish the run

I think they would try to get Ausberry before looking at Allen again.

Harvey Broussard is going to be on lsu's radar.
He was balling out for the bootleggers.
I agree that ausberry would get the spot over allen.
