That was interesting.

Of the 6, there are definitely 4 I could sit with, talk and listen to. And the self-righteous black chick and intellectually pretentious biotech bitch ain't it.

I'd rather hang out with the weird dance major, than the black, pretentious black chick. The word "bitch" comes to mind.

You’re making a disimilar comparison.

Five out of the six people in that video are college educated. The question is, would you expect a Harvard/Yale graduate to be smarter than the rest of the college group?

My answer would be no. And that would be especially true if the person was a minority.
I wonder how close the smart Asian guy got to not being admitted to his Ivy League school? We all know aptitude isn't always the deciding factor. Black chick proves that.

Harvard actually discriminates against Asians to keep the admission rate in check.

In the name of diversity and equity, the world is being dumbed down systematically.

Just so certain people can feel good about themselves.

You’re not entirely sure how averages work are you?

No, apparently you don’t understand. I am talking about averages across different populations. The average IQ for a minority Yale grad is higher than the average IQ for the general US population. It just is. Ivy League schools are extremely difficult to get into. I don’t care what color your skin is. In fact, the video showed that her IQ was 130, which is pretty high. It just so happened that the military dude was smarter. Good for him, but if you had no other information, the smart money in that situation is on the two Ivy League grads.

5 of the 6 in the group were college graduates. They weren't representative of the general US population. And the marine told everyone what he did for a living, so that is additional information that you could have used if you knew what that was about.

You also heard that the Yale grad didn't even want to go to college, had dyslexia, adhd, autism, and probably some genetic victim disorder if you let her talk long enough. She sounded like an idiot.

She sounded painfully insecure to me, but her 131 IQ shows that she’s clearly not an idiot. I’ll admit to not knowing how difficult it is to get into the Marine’s field. You could tell he was intelligent when he was talking, so his score didn’t really surprise me.
My issue is with folks on here acting like the black chick isn’t smart because she must have been admitted because of her skin color. She may well have gotten in with lower scores, but minorities at Yale are still going to have high IQs. Her 131 IQ puts her in the 98th percentile. The reason that she seems so insecure it’s probably because she’s going to school with people who have IQs in the 99.9th percentile. That is part of what affirmative-action gives you. Minority kids who are extremely intelligent end up feeling inferior because of the pond they are swimming in.

I think most really high IQ types are on the spectrum. Those people seem to struggle with social situations and have a low social IQ.

I agree with that 100%, but I don’t think 130 is high enough to cause awkwardness. I think she is just an insecure kid. Like I said, being admitted to a school with lower scores based on your skin color can’t be great for your confidence. I had an Hispanic friend years ago who hated affirmative action because folks assumed she was admitted with lower scores. She wasn’t. She thought affirmative action should have been based on class.

It's also a Facebook IQ test. I score in the 140s-150s on those things, and I wouldn't say I'm quite that intelligent. Pretty close, though.

Anyone with any common sense would rank the ones who went to Harvard and Yale the highest. Remember they are working off first impressions. In the absence of additional data, your best bet is to choose the ones who went to selective universities.
People with common sense also understand that intelligence is distributed along a bell curve at Harvard, at Yale, and in the military. There is always going to be overlap. In other words, give everyone a chance.

I’ve reached the point where I’ve come to the conclusion that if you have common sense you won’t go to college and instead find a trade. And given that half of the Ivy League schools consist of idiots who are the kids of loaded people, then no I don’t give them the benefit of the doubt. Seeing as these idiots got into Harvard and Yale respectively disproves that elitist garbage:

Especially one that didn't have any interest in going to college

Eh that's a bit silly

Not saying that you must go to college but for a lot of people it still makes more sense

That being said, learning a trade, mastering that trade and starting your own business is a great way to earn a living

It's also clear that creating "her story" is super important to her also, so this whole thing is based on a legit lie.

I mean, I’m a sales manager right now and my Eastern counterpart doesn’t have a college education. Getting a bachelor’s in marketing and business administration is an absolute worthless major. You learn more about business in your first month in your first job than you do in all of college. If you’re going into STEM then I see the value of a college education, but outside of that not really.

That was satisfying, but I think the best part was watching all, but Tyler, try and justify why they were so wrong. Muh IQ test isn’t good.

Believe me my organization has some people who do very well (millions per year) that never stepped foot in a college classroom. So I'm not of the mindset that you need a degree to do well.

Generally speaking I agree and I'd probably add the legal field
