So when Morbid says MMR’s plane flies an LSU flag, what’s he mean?
It means MMR are huge LSU boosters. Their CEO is Pepper Rutland, who was an LSU football captain in the 70s.

Yeah. The “flies” in a flight tracker thread threw me off.
Up to speed now.

It's possible that McDonnell's agent is headquartered in Atlanta. Leave Baton Rouge, check off with his agent in Atlanta, head to Louisville check off with Coach, head back to Baton Rouge. Done deal.

Has anyone checked flight aware for a trip to a certain Catholic high school in Gentilly?

This is possibly the goofiest speculation I’ve ever seen, but I still read it all. Thanks for the entertainment.

If it is carrying an LSU official, I’m glad they’re being smart and not using the Acadian ambulance planes based out of Lafayette.

Either McDonnell or Godwin have a good chance to keep the program elite for a long time.
Even as a defender of Casey my main concern is how soon we’d be back in the market.

If McDonnell were to leave and go to LSU, y'all are getting a damn good coach. Before he arrived in Louisville, the program has only bene to ONE Regional in it's history. Since McDonnell took over he has taken us to 5 CWS appearances. Something we never dreamed was possible. He helped improve facilities and has fans at Louisville extremely excited about College Baseball. He is one of the classiest guys you will EVER come across and LSU would be lucky to have him. Selfishly of course, I hope he stays a Cardinal (nothing against you guys). Below are some of his records....
2007 Louisville 47–24 overall (19-8, 3rd in Big East) College World Series
2008 Louisville 41–21 overall (16–11, 4th in Big East) NCAA Regional
2009 Louisville 47-18 overall (19-7, 1st in Big East) NCAA Super Regional
2010 Louisville 50-14 overall (21-6, 1st in Big East) NCAA Regional
2011 Louisville 32-29 overall (14-13, tied 4th in Big East)
2012 Louisville 41-22 overall (18-9, 1st in Big East) NCAA Regional
2013 Louisville 51-14 overall (20-4, 1st in Big East) College World Series
2014 Louisville 50-17 overall (19-5, 1st in American Athletic Conference) College World Series
2015 Louisville 47-18 overall (25-5, 1st in ACC) NCAA Super Regional
2016 Louisville 50-14 (22-8, 1st in ACC) NCAA Super Regional
2017 Louisville 52-10 (23-6, 1st in ACC) College World Series
2018 Louisville 45-19 (18-12, 3rd in ACC) NCAA Super Regional
2019 Louisville 43-15 (21-9, 1st in ACC) College World Series
2020 Louisville 13-4 Season ended due to COVID
2021 Louisville 28-22 (16-16 in ACC)
2021 was no doubt a disappointment, but injuries to a number of our pitchers really took a toll. We have really dominated the ACC overall since our debut in 2015. Minus this season of course. 2021 was the first season Louisville had been swept in a ACC series.

So do yall think Casey came to baton rouge and had an interview, as reported? If so,then maybe the bos nixed the hire, which is also what happened with o'Sullivan, supposedly. If so,that's crazy that Woodward would get his choice nixed twice. If that happened, hes not gonna be happy
Posted on 6/11/21 at 8:30 am to Tigerpride18
Or maybe tigerdroppings and other fans ,made their displeasure known enough to change his mind
Posted on 6/11/21 at 8:52 am to Tigerpride18
I think if it’s true he visited it was more of a courtesy interview
