It’s gonna be hard to keep Bianco out of the rotation.

Why not Marceaux in game 1?

Labas
Marceaux
Hilliard
Mix in coleman somewhere/somehow, all of a sudden, we may be 4 deep for a starting rotation

With Marceaux pitching as much as he did this weekend, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him another day of rest

You start Marceaux game 1. You have to do everything you can to try and win Game 1.

I would think that the extra day of rest is fine considering that he was supposed to throw bullpen yesterday anyway.

I think you give Marceaux and extra day too. I don’t think they wanted him throwing as much as he did yesterday, but whadda do

That’s why you don’t pull Hilliard after 14 pitches bad Hellmers after two strong, scoreless innings.

I think LSU was hoping for two innings max out of Marceaux. And he went 2.1 innings with the last maxing him out.

Yea it should have been Hilliard for 2 then straight to Helmers. I hate that we extended Landon so much. Fontenot should have pitched the 9th but PMs been weird ab using him on B2Bs

The warm ups and velocity he threw last night were way more than a BP. I think you have to see how his arm's feeling by then. Probably going to be sore from overuse but this is tourney time.

I don't hate that he tried the other guys in between, maybe just pull Floyd quicker. He didn't have it at all. But definitely should have kept in Helmers longer.

I can see the reasoning in pulling Hilliard quick since he has had an injury before. If Hilliard would have gotten hurt, this place would have gone nuts with the old "paul and Dunn ruining another pitcher's arm".

i think you pitch Marceaux game 2.
its the most important game as your either going for the sweep or staving off elimination, plus it gives him 5 full days of rest

That would have been B2B2B for Fontenot. He threw the last inning Saturday, and two innings Sunday.

Assuming Bianco starts in C, can we get Gio as DH?

Except if you're LSU. Because that's how we roll.

Why would you want a DH with a bad hammy?
