The Hill - Burger King mocks Chick-fil-a

quote:

On June 3, Burger King made a cheeky tweet saying it will donate up to $250,000 of the proceeds from its new premium chicken sandwich, Ch’King, to The Human Rights Campaign (HRC). For every hand-breaded chicken sold, 40 cents will go to the cause.

quote:

The company emphasized that the Ch’King is available on Sunday, taking a jab at Chick-fil-A which observes the Sabbath on Sunday.

Perhaps they should worry about getting better employees...

A food company openly mocking a Christian based restaurant. That is OK though, right? I'm sure the media will be right on this

Chick-fil-A could serve Burger King's entire daily customer volume in a half hour. They aren't concerned with this clout chasing.

Yes mocking the values of the predominant religion of this country in pursuit of a joke against a competitor is sure to be beneficial for their bottom line.

This “insult” has been overplayed by many.

CFA will never “take the bait” and add Sunday hours as they make more in 6 days than most franchises clear in a month.

Given the massive disparity in success, maybe BK would be wise to close on Sunday to better manage payroll during peak business hours and attract better applicants who value set weekend time off with their families.

Or, frick 'em, they can continue racing to the bottom.

Better not try that against Wendys. They will get eviscerated.

Last I heard you could double the next competitor's revenue domestically and CFA still would beat them.

Chick-fil-A should just post average franchise earnings as a rebuttal. It should just say "6 days per week bitches"

I honestly don’t know how Burger King is still in business. They’ve been utter shite for almost two decades now.

Both BK and Popeyes are majority owned by a Brazilian company. God's chicken sammy is American owned.
