We are what we are. You want to know what you are, look at yourself. You aren’t made wrong. You may have thoughts that make you feel confused or weird but it’s the thoughts that are wrong, not you!
Telling kids they can change their fricking biology because puberty is a rough and tumultuous time is horrific! Because they can’t. No matter how many hormones they take, no matter how they mutilate themselves, it doesn’t change nature.
I’m sorry you feel as you do. I don’t think you are a bad person for having…whatever. You think I never had confusing thoughts?
But this damned community spurred by social media is filled with creeps and perverts trying to convince impressionable minds that they are MADE WRONG!
And that’s so far past my line in the sand that I don’t care what names I’m called.

Not withstanding a few gents here are being civil and accommodating that, the vast majority are coded to ridicule you.

ETA: the media/social platforms absolutely force feed lifestyles that are not typical and/or normal. For the attention the LGBTQ community gets, it comprises an extremely low percentage of society. Further, the MTV agenda will propagate it as desirable. Hell, they glamorize teen pregnancy…….yeah, get knocked up and you’ll experience fame and an Escalade.
I digress.

I must have asked the initial question in an offensive way. I don’t know the lingo, so all I could come up with was ‘what do you identify as?’. Is that not something you ask an openly trans person?

You may want to look into the research on the biological differences of the brains of men, women and how it relates to transgender individuals. Essentially what researchers are finding is that the same structural differences in brain anatomy of men and women are also found in transgender folks of the claimed gender identity and that prenatal hormones may play a role. So these individuals end up with a female brain in male body of vice versa.
It may not be the case with all and I think the issue is a complex one. It seems like those pushing for normalizing and speeding up the process for young people to transition and those that oppose the idea of even adults transitioning need to take a breath. It unfortunate the serious condition for a few people has turned into such a politicized circus.

I don't think this is nefarious in so far that these people want everyone to be like them so they don't feel like outsiders.
It's like all those body positive people who are fat and lazy and want the world to change for them rather than look at themselves in the mirror. Every time some previously championed fat celebrity decides to lose weight, these same people lose their minds and shite on these people because they're terrified that they'll have to face their own failures or personal issues.
