State of Florida seems to be diluted with professional baseball with two MLB teams and 10-11 minor league teams. Many of those are within a couple of hours of Gainesville. With so much dilution, Florida baseball likely pulls most fan support from the immediate area.
Louisiana only has (had) one minor league team? Also, LSU baseball draws significant fan support from all of South Louisiana. For baseball fans, it is really the best show around.
