Well, Florida is currently taking the field for game 1 of their regional in front of about 1100 semi-interested fans.

That’s what happens when you start the year as a near unanimous #1 and don’t even get a national seed.

Florida and baseball fans don't belong in the same sentence.

Some people have reached their ceilings at a place and need a new challenge.

Was the stadium full for every regional game when they were a national seed?

Zero enthusiasm over there for baseball.

I don’t know. Just pointing out Sully’s under achieving and lack of fire.

Yeah, paying a guy who has already reached his goals and is in coasting stage a boatload of money is a recipe for success.

has he reached his goals? Then nobody should be hired if they won a title since they have reached their goals

Really think O'Sullivan is the guy and all this other talk is just smoke screens.

I am not an expert on Florida sports but do they just not care as much about baseball in general? I feel like all the games I see there have underwhelming crowds, even when they had great teams over the years.

Hiring a coach that previously won a baseball title has worked pretty much once.

Hell, they played for and won the national championship in 2017 in front of a sellout crowd that contained (at best) 2,500 Florida fans. Many of whom were friends and family of the team. All while there were probably 15,000 LSU fans at the same games.

He's paid well there. He has new amenities. He's had tremendous success. But sometimes it's human nature to want to feel appreciated. LSU fans will sell out the Box on a cold Friday in early March. Florida struggles to fill up their smaller stadium in the NCAAT.

The guy could be one of the kings of BR as LSU's HC. As Florida's HC, despite tremendous success, there is still probably a not so insignificant portion of the Florida fan base that doesn't even know who he is.

its not the fans' fault that they are afraid to bring their wives around him.
