Some Astros game when they were playing the Cubs in the AstroDome. Saw Sammy Sosa almost homer. Think the Cubs won.

Game 4, 1995 NLCS, Braves vs Reds, Atlanta-Fulton Co Stadium. Steve Avery on the mound.
Braves swept the Reds and won their third pennant in 5 years. Went on to win their only World Series 4-2 vs Cleveland.

It was the Late 70s in Tiger Stadium. My dad took me. I don't remember who Detroit played but I remember Jack Billingham was pitching for Detroit.

Pirates vs Phillies July ‘62 at Connie Mack. I had a seat behind a girder at that crappy old stadium. A week later Marilyn Monroe killed herself.

1987 Busch Stadium
Cardinals/Expos
Ozzie at SS, Vince Coleman batting lead off and Terry Pendleton at 3B. I loved Willie McGee. He hit .350 a season or two before that. Andres Galarraga was playing 1st for Montreal and Tim Raines was in the outfield. Been a Cards fan ever since.

Atlanta @ Milwaukee in 2002
The only thing I remember from the game is that the Brewers lost and numerous fans heckling Gary Sheffield for sandbagging to get himself out of Milwaukee.

First game was a Spring Training Game, Astros Vs. Reds. I've been an Astros fan since that day.
During the game, JR Richards came and talked to me after he pitched. I also met Art Howe, Enos Cabell, and a couple of other players that never made it to the major level.
That was the first of many Spring Training games I got to attend and meet different players. It was a lot different back in 1975/76/77... the players spent more time talking with the fans back then and the park was much smaller. Some of the players were very down to earth.
One other memory that I remember from the first game... my friend that went with me was a big Pete Rose fan. My friend yelled to him to get his attention after the game when other Reds players were giving out autographs, and Pete's response was, "I ain't got time, kid. I'm working here."
So, my experience, Pete Rose is a Dick. But, I'd still vote to put him in the HOF.

Braves vs Astros 1995 in Astrodome. One of my parents boss had season tickets and let us use their seats. Third row behind 1st base. Braves won, and I remember voting for all-star game by poking out holes on my paper ballot that was in every cupholder in stadium.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't my first MLB game, but it's the first I remember. My t-ball team won a team photo contest hosted by Fujifilm. We all got to a Cubs-Marlins game at Wrigley and go out on the field during warmups to meet some of the players. I don't recall meeting any of the big names like Sosa or Sandberg, just relief pitchers and the like
I remember a bat shattered during BP and flew into the seats along the first baseline. My friend who lived across the street from me was able to grab it, and got a few signatures on it. It was grimy and covered in pine tar, they had it mounted on the wall in their basement.
That weekend was also the last series Andre Dawson played at Wrigley, so there was a farewell ceremony for him prior to first pitch.

Ive been to one game in my life, it was around the early to mid 90s. It was at the ballpark in arlington.there were 2 players that i remember watching and knowing , at that time, who they were. The two i remember were jose canseco and i think the other was will clark.
While this thread is going oon ,can some of our bigger mlb fans help me figure out what season and year it would have been ?
Idk how we would figure it out though. The only info i can give that may help is that the game was played at the ballpark in arlington and that will clark and jose conseco were both on the team that season.
Werent they together at that stadium for multiple years though? If so ,idk how we could figure it out with just that info.
Dont remember opponent at all ,not even the name of the team?
