I know it’s not movies or TV, but it is entertainment.
I’ve done lots of the hardcore history ones, but that’s not really what I’m looking for.
I’ve enjoyed a lot of the business wars seasons, dr death, dirty John.
I listened to Deep Cover last year and loved it.
Thanks for the recs.

Glorious, if you've seen the series a few times over and know each episode by heart.
Also, I was hooked on The Dennis Miller Option, and was really bummed when he bailed on it last year. So many great interviews and hilarious stories.

It’s older and a little different but if you like zombie stuff check out “We’re Alive” it’s good

The Rewatchables. Currently on a run of 80s and 90s action movies.

I enjoyed Last Seen about the Isabella Stewart Gardner heist
Has the FBI art theft agent talk about his undercover work since you enjoyed deep cover.

Going by the podcasts that you mentioned that were done by Wondery, I'd highly recommend Hollywood and Crime by them. The first series was on The Black Dahlia murder and is the best podcast series that I've ever listened to.
They also have one on the murder or William Desmond Taylor and the Billionaire Boys Club(hosted by Timothy Olyphant).
Then, they have several "behind the scenes" of classic films like Psycho, Jaws, and Star Wars that are really good.

I bailed on virtually all Simmons/Ringer content last year for many reasons, but the Rewatchables on a good episode is still pretty great to listen to on drives in the car.
Note to OP, though: only listen to episodes that feature any combination of Simmons, Chris Ryan, the other pussified writer guy, and Rusillo. They even do really good movies but the podcasts are often ruined by voices who shouldn't be on there because they add virtually nothing, or they don't have good chemistry with everyone else. Stay away from those unless you're really desperate.
The Karate Kid episode with Rusillo is probably the best one they every did.

Revolutions by Mike Duncan.
He covers different revolutions through time.
Well done and super interesting if you’re into history.

I've enjoyed Simmons since early Page 2 and Grantland. But he will find just deserts when the same woke mob that he cowers to daily destroys his empire.

I was going to suggest this. Gladwell might get too liberal on occasion for some listeners but I think anyone interested in history would like the Bomber Mafia trilogy. The ones about art museums are good too. The King of Tears is one of his best about country songwriting legend Bobby Braddock. Also Analysis, Parapraxis, Elvis about Elvis' inability to sing Are You Lonesome Tonight correctly.
If you like deep cut kinda music history Broken Record is excellent too.

Sam Harris did a podcast with Lex Fridman recently. Topics included AI, consciousness, free will. Around midway through they get into some interesting psychology on the implications of free will and a having a self-critical inner voice.
