Your good ole boys are so scorching hot, they are hotter than that potato was that one time for a few months back in the 80's. 6 straight wins will do that for you.
The Astros once again showed the Rangers who is the boss, as it should be.
Even Chuck has disdain for the Rangers.
But on to bigger and better things. In a battle to reclaim the top spot in the AL West, Christian Javier will face a struggling Sean Manaea, who allowed 7 runs and 10 hits in 2 innings vs. Boston his last time out.
I crunched some numbers, and his projected line tonight is of course 7 IP, 3 hits, 1 run, 350 K.
But maybe not...this group of Astros is on a mission, riding the hot bats of Myles Straw and Moldy Nacho....along with Diaz, Yuri, and Yed
Everyone is up in the Dome; so everyone up at home. It's time to go get 'em Astros!

Remember in the off season when everyone was hating on Yuli?
I remember.

I remember.

It's time to claim first place and never look back.

The Twins have the worst record in the majors and are likely to be sellers. Can we trade for Nelly Cruz and make him the 2nd DH for Straw?
In reality, Buxton would be perfect if we're plucking guys off their roster but that would be prohibitively costly which we can't do and the guy is hurt non stop. On the IL right now in fact.

I’m sure they’ll sell some rental guys but I would be stunned if they deal Buxton. They will be back trying to win next year.

That would be a score, he's one of the best CFs in the game when healthy, but he's going to make a lot of money next year in arbitration and then be gone. Plus like you said he can't ever stay healthy.
Maybe they can snag a guy like Trey Mancini that can play RF and move Tucker over. Problem is, like any potential deal, the Astros' cupboard is pretty bare.

Yeah Buxton now fully developed is the dream but he makes Correa look like Cal Ripken Jr. health wise.

At the end of this series, A’s gonna be like

Japanese are some weird people. Too much radiation, I guess.

Can I just say that the Hot Potato reference is epic? That show was on like maybe 4 months, and I loved it watching on summer vacation. Bill Cullen was the GOAT roving game show host. They'd pair cops, teachers, nuns or whatever together as teams to guess surveys.
