Duran Duran wasn't a typical 80s mass produced crap band when they first started out.

Their first two albums weren't that bad.

The 93 Duran Duran album seems a lot different from the earlier albums.

Their hey day was the early 80s and those first three records... it was damn near beatlemania with the girls in the junior high circuit at that time.. then they gradually fizzled out in the mid 80s...

No one cared about them in '93 (generally speaking), though they did have some decent pop songs on that record...
