Tommy Vidrine Youtube video

9 pogey boats fishing Camanda Pass with 3 of them fishing right on the beach. This is unacceptable and its an outrage the State of Louisiana refuses to regulate these redfish/trout raping machines.

You mean that “gentlemen’s agreement” the state and the commercials have isn’t being honored?

Send email now!
The bill by Rep Orgeron, HB 535 will be heard in House Natural Resources Committee Wednesday morning. It will establish a half mile buffer off most beaches, 3 miles off Grand Isle, a mile off Grand Terre and a mile off Elmer’s to Timbalier Island. Please comment in favor at h-natr@legis.la.gov if you want to see these boats off the beaches.

Water balloon launcher and some piss balloons would handle it.

And of course they show up as soon as the trout do. Very frustrating

I don't see why a bunch of baws don't cause trouble with them when they get in that close. Make the area unfishable. Get tons of boat traffic around them, throw up dive flags and if they get aggressive defend yourself.

I doubt the rules will be strictly enforced if they manage to pass anyway.

I emailed every legislator on that committee.
This needs to be addressed by the state.
This industry impacts the trout population more than “overfishing”

Pleas email your support in favor of this proposed law.

I don’t have a dog in this fight but the guy making that video should have at least got the shoreline in that shot. He was clearly on a boat so how do you really know how far out the other boats were?

It sucks even more because the south Africans own the pogey plant in Empire now. More money leaving the US and trashing our fisheries with no shits given.

I was watching the hearing online until it kept cutting out. One of the pogey captains called out he is not a rapist..

Tommy Vidrine has no patience for these idiots.

I appreciate that it pisses him off. Maybe it'll get someone's attention.

Sink the mfers. Even in Mississippi they require them to be a mile off Harrison and Hancock county and 1 mile off all the barrier Islands that aren’t private

Pogey boat running along the beach front on the live cam. Cant be more than 150ft from the shoreline. Someone should play videos of these instances on the house floor anytime those legislators defend this practice
