Mark is family. Always a rock for me growing up. Absolutely a punch in the gut to get this news earlier today. He was a central figure in a significant turning point in my life and ill never get the chance to truly express to him what it meant to me. So many chances. And unbelievably, im scanning the OT drinking scotch, trying to distract myself and i see this thread. So proud to know how he made an impression on others. Will be forever missed.

Pogey boat running along the beach front on the live cam. Cant be more than 150ft from the shoreline. Someone should play videos of these instances on the house floor anytime those legislators defend this practice

I can tell you that you are spot on with this feeling. The question should be is she/you ok with this? If not, attempt to counter or run from this offer. There are really some other more valuable questions she should ask other than salary questions, but to stick with your original thought process, no do not accept no paid call. Orthopedic surgery is one of the most lucrative medical specialties. The surgeon gets paid for his call time and your wife should too. Period. And another thing, that 50 hours a week will most likely end up being 60 or more. Some days will be better than others but over the long haul it will be 60 if it is a "wildly successful practice."

Anyone still holding or considering getting back into $PIP? Earnings report is 3/9. Looks as if there has been a slow, steady down trend since recent high of $1.37, now in the $0.85 area.
