There are a number here claiming there is no gas shortage anywhere.

My wife and I filled up both tanks yesterday, before the news had to stop ignoring this. We will be limiting our driving as much as possible.

This is a little different than the TP shortage. You don't need fuel tanks or a bunch of plastic cans to store TP, you can just stack it up in your garage or guest room. People can only buy so much fuel, before they run out of ways to store it. So if they fill up their vehicles, and drive normally, the shortage will right itself quickly if it's not real.
