Went to Kroger last night in Duluth at around 9:00 and had to wait on gas. Stupid. Shouldn’t be that many people getting gas at 9 on a Monday night

Eh, I posted earlier yesterday that I put in an order for 2400 gallons of diesel... got a call back from distro and they told me I would get 1200 (today) and might get the other 1200 next week...
So either the suppliers are anticipating some shortages or bulk users were panic buying earlier in the day... SE AL for reference...
Oh and mine was the normal mid-month drop...

the Walmart and Lowes in Barrow County (N. GA) are out of portable gas cans because people are fricking idiots and are trying to hoard gas.

Oil companies finna eat. May start slow walking loads for a day or two to drop it in tanks that are pumping 50 cents to a dollar more a gallon.
After the bashing and dogging from this admin… I don’t blame them. A “how do you like us now?” moment.
And I have a full tank after filling up Sunday and shares in a couple oil drillers that needs a reason to pop. So I don’t givva shite if they do.

Not really... the panic buying emptied the tanks at the gas stations well ahead of normal schedule... it normally takes about a week for things to settle out on a panic run on gas...

yea the panic is going to make this worse than it needs to be. I do think a gas shortage is one thing the dems don't actually want. I think that could be a tipping point that turns normal docile people into savages.

This is a national crisis. Not a 'Facebook' contrived inconvenience.
Pipeline shut down 5 days ago. ( gee, wish we had that Keystone pipeline now, huh? ) Biden admin did jack shite about it, and called it a ' private sector matter'. Meanwhile, it claims trans and illegal healthcare is 'infrastructure' issues of top importance.
