Man, i tuned in for elon as well, there was a pretty funny short near the beginning about the conversations we are all having at parties, but the 3 skits i tried to watch were horrible, not 1 laugh. It seems more like madtv when i tried to watch that back in the 90s. And that wasnt remotely funny. Nothing to do with politics. I heard it had gone down hill. Didnt realize it went that far down over the last 7-8 years

The only things that has saved them for the last two decades have been the Presidential elections.
They'll suck in the interim, then the minute they have a remotely funny W or Sarah Palin or Hillary impersonation the media will launch into prisoner of the moment mode and lecture us about how hilarious this show really is and how wrong we are for saying it has been weak.
However, they're even failing in that regard now as well. When they had to rely on two actors (Baldwin and Carrey) who weren't cast members of the show to do the impersonations for both candidates, that's...not good

What y’all talking about? They have had some funny skits over the past ten years. Sure, they have liberal bias, but there are plenty that is not political per say.
