I'm in bumfrick South Dakota for work right now upgrading a factory's IT resources and a lot of these factories are facing severe understaffing issues. The plant I'm at normally runs 24/7 but they had to slow down production because they can't find enough workers. The morning crew is mostly folks in their late 50s while the night crew is almost entirely from south of the border. All the young folks have moved out or are staying home living off welfare/unemployment.

Maybe they shouldn’t have built a factory in South Dakota.

I’m not leaving my apartment in the city to go work in SD. I’ll keep looking for jobs in the classifieds at while I collect UE and sip my soy latte at Starbucks.

Guess people got tired of working hard to make practically nothing and others richer.

Plenty of businesses and rich people got six-seven figure PPP money that didn’t need it. How come that’s not a problem?

Why go to work for a 12 hour shift when I can sit at home and collect almost the same amount of money..... but just wait till that extra unemployment runs out......

South Dakota.

Warehouse cog in a replaceable wheel job.

You don’t say.

What a marvelous style of living that is. Lol at you fricks just wanting your fellow man to slave away in a shitty job in a barren wasteland of a state that wrecks your back and sucks your soul out of your a-hole.

Ah well. Maintains a steady stream of patients for me I guess.

Damn bro, what’d you do to have to work in a plant in North Dakota? You being punished?

There are plenty enough jobs down here in Cancer Alley for the homebaws.

And the fool Biden says the poor April jobs report means we need to pass his 2 trillion dollar jobs bill!

And yet we continue to give out unemployment. Every company on every corner is hiring, and democrats want more stimulus. Idiots.

Most factories are being automated to replace the humans.

Looks like Southern Chicks (the only fried chicken place in New Roads) is the latest victim of competing with unemployment $$$.

They just posted a lengthy post on their FB page.

It may not be a glamorous job.
Sometimes as an adult you have to make choices which a lot of people do not understand.

At the same time when you can make more on unemployed than working it makes it hard to lose money going to work.
