Huh? English is basically the language of most legal documents in the Philippines.

I know there are hundreds of various kinds of Tagalog but if she was from any normal part of the island nation she likely spoke english before coming here.

Biden approved illegals to get up to 26K. So that card may be $26,000 US dollars and Biden so claimed it to be legit.

so he approved we send money to someone in the Philippines that lived and worked in the US for 10 months in 2018-19 ? Seems outrageous. I’m sure she she has already been handed out 10 fold in stimulus $$$ than she ever paid in taxes while living here the 10 months

Ive met the girl and talked to her several times on the phone. Trust me my 2 year old nephew has better command of English than her. I’m pretty sure while in the US she only spoke Tagalog to her circle of workers and acquaintances.

I would bet if she cashed it all and used the card nothing would happen to her. i am guessing she called and said her card was missing for them to send another one-so they don't GAF.

She should NOT be getting free US tax payers money sent to the Philippines

Did she file taxes for 2019? As I understand it that's the only way to get a stimulus payment.

yes she did. When I told her I’m not sending her mail to the Philippines and if she wants it to change her address. She stated that the IRS won’t allow her to do a change of address unless she was filing taxes for this year, which she isn’t.

Add this guy too;

Remember the story I told you about the Norwegian living in Norway who received a stimulus check? Well now he’s received 3 of them!

$1200, $600, $1400.

He paid taxes in the US in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s while attending and working at universities.

To answer the OP, that's why I don't mind cheating on my taxes. Every man for themselves these days

I've heard of other instances of this happening. As long as you paid any taxes in the previous tax year they sent you a stimulus. My friend's ex co-worker from England who lived here a few years ago had a little money in the stock market and paid a small amount of US taxes on it (less than $100). He got all the stimulus money.

Total bs.
