and relying on Bledsoe to have any positive impact has failed monumentally

I imagine Griffin operates in a vacuum where he tells himself, "losing Jrue but gaining Bledsoe, Adams, and all these picks is not a bad deal".. Because he's comparing Jrue to Milwaukee Bledsoe

Except Bledsoe gets traded here and goes full Eric Gordon because he hates it here. For all we know, half the players from the Lakers trade are the same way...

It's pretty easy for us in hindsight to blast that part of the trade, and don't get me wrong, I've done so as well.

But Bledsoe was never THIS bad, and I don't know how any of us or Griff could have predicted he'd be THIS bad. You know Jrue is walking after the following season, and you get Bledsoe plus all those picks...no brainer at the time.

But Bledsoe goes full on don't give a shite mode, and Griff extends Adams to a terrible additional 2 year overpay which many at the time pointed out was a really bad deal, and it basically undoes all the draft pick assets we got for Jrue.

Well, if everyone hates it here, then we are just well and truly screwed no matter who is in charge. If it's a combination of small market and our particular city/area, those things are not really going to change.
