Almost impossible to be outside with these things right now. They’re terrible in my neighborhood.

I’ve tried that and No Natz. Neither work very well.

Yeah I haven't found anything that works. They hurt like hell at times.

Grab this from your wife’s side of the bathroom and spray it all over you.

You’re welcome

It's every Spring. After storms pass through and the weather is perfectly cool is when they are the worst.

Guess I never realized how bad they were until I moved to this side of town. Where I was previously in BR didn’t have them.

Probably Buffalo gnats. They come from the Mississippi River this time of year from the cool, snowmelt water. It usually only lasts a week or two. You can find threads on here and Home/Garden board around the same time every year. The only thing that could be done is diverting the Mississippi down the red river. Then everyone in the Atchafalaya basin would be miserable this time of year.

What’s the acceptable number of gnats you may dig out of your glass of bourbon before you should throw it?

They are bad where I live and also on the levee when I go run or walk. I can never remember them being this bad.

They were awful in Zachary when we lived there after the flood. Not so much at our house in Denham.

Try vanilla. No joke, an elderly lady told me it works and it did.

Any flying insect that bites loves me. I tried something called Swamp whatever, it's in the boat, can't remember the whole name. It worked for me when I used it. It had a citrus base for sure. Also a mist which I like.
