Yep. Who’s to say what Cecil Collins did wasn’t worse? Do we remove his name too? Jordan Jefferson beat the shite out of someone in a bar fight, so I guess he never played here either? This politically correct bull shite they are trying in order to fix everything makes me more embarrassed to be an alumnus than the scandal itself.

The result is a record book that’s not factual. If it’s not factual it’s worthless as a sports record book. Even worse, the LSU records will have been intentionally falsified.
Guice holds 3 of the top 5 single game rushing records. When they remove those 3, numbers 11 through 13 will move up into the top 10. I’d really, really like to find out Cecil Collins holds one of those spots.

I'm ambivalent about whether this actually happens, but this is not cancel culture. That is when someone loses his or her job because he or she expresses unpopular (typically conservative) opinions.
Guice is a disgusting human being and a criminal who has brought nationwide humiliation upon LSU. LSU does not want to be associated with him. It's probably childish to delete his name from the record books. But he deserves it.
