If you didn’t see, I bought a large collection of military stuff today, including 85 “Challenge Coins”. Four of those are .999 1 oz pure silver. There is one more coin the is in same box as the others, but it’s not mark silver. It weighs the exact same as the others, etc.
Is this pure silver?
Pure silver Korean War coin
Silver? Not marked WWII coin

I think those came in McDonald’s happy meals in the 90s

The silver content may be marked in very fine print on the side of the coin

Those Dave and Buster tokens have gotten fancy

Those aren’t worth the silver their printed on.

It is not pure silver. Trust me, I'm currently staying at a holiday inn express.

Put a magnet to the coin. Silver is ferromagnetic and will not be attracted to the magnet.

Try posting on Reddit and you’ll likely get some legit replies from people who would know.

That wouldn't rule out silver-plated brass.

But it’s made me a small fortune the past few months

As long as you don't get left holding the bag. A coin with infinite supply is absurd though.

Those are silver. Barring any additional value from a collector’s standpoint, you could buy those for approximately $42-$45 dollars today.
Go check the spot price for silver and call around to some pawn shops or gold/jewelry exchanges to see what they’re willing to pay per ounce and go to the highest bidder. Tell them you have some silver eagles. Fast money.
