I respect everyone’s decision, whether they get it or not. I’m just curious why one wouldn’t get it. My MIL thinks the government can track those who have been vaccinated with gps. She is a Psycho though

I don't see any reason to get it.

That said, I made my parents get theirs.

FDA approval. Basic stuff
Also I've never had a flu shot and don't see a pressing reason to get it

I’ve never taken a flu shot. Never gotten the flu. Rely on my solid immune system. Damn sure not giving into all this Covid propaganda.

Oh wow I’ve never thought of weighing the pros and cons of the vaccine. I’m glad there’s a thread here on the OT to discuss this.

Because two are experimental and the other causes blood clots, and for a healthy fit stud like me I have a 99.999% chance of making it IF I get it.

Why take a shot that hasn't been FDA aproved when the death rate for covid is o.3 percent. To me you have to be kinda dumb to do that.

Not fda approved so rushed

Younger and healthy so super low risk.

What else do you need to know?

Wuhan flu mortality rate is too small to worry about.

The sane people's answers are one of two reasons:

1. Never had a flu vaccine shot before, why start now?

2. Stories of getting sick after the vaccine, plus it's largely unproven.

I’ve never taken a drug that is only FDA approved for emergency use so why would I now? I’m not in any emergency. If I was dying of cancer and my only hope was a non- FDA approved drug I might take it.

Show me the peer reviewed 5 and 10 year studies of the side effects of this “vaccine”. Oh, that’s right, they don’t exist. Sorry, I’ll pass.

I think that the risks to those with co-morbidities of dying from the Wuhan Virus are high enough, obviously, that they and this nation owe a massive debt to the pharmaceutical companies and the Trump Administration for developing and rolling-out the vaccines.

So yea, I am glad the vaccines arrived in unprecedented time, thus protecting millions and millions. For the rest of us, just as the shut-downs were unnecessary, as are widespread vaccinations.

The COVID risk is way too low for me. I've had COVID (100% a-symptomatic), the wife and youngest child had it (minor symptoms), for us it is just not a big enough risk. For an elderly or unhealthy person, it may be a risk worth taking the vaccine for.
