Looking at getting a pre-fab, propane fueled fire pit for the patio. Ideally, I'd like to keep it under $500. Anyone have experience with anything like this? Home Depot has a couple made by Hampton Bay that have pretty good reviews.

I was getting ready to start an identical thread. My wife wants on of these.

I imagine the one you posted is better than the one from Walmart

That looks nice. I’ve been looking at the Solo, but it doesn’t have a table.

i had the breeo 24" doubleflame. I enjoyed it for a long afternoon/evening with friends or kids. But it takes a while to get it smokeless an like others mentioned, with kids i needed something quick and easy. I sold it and got a little $99 gas pit off of wayfair.

Here's the one we have. Amazon

My wife wanted one and it's turned out to be pretty useful. We light the fire on cool nights and just use it as a table the rest of the time.

We’ve had one for about 3-4yrs and really enjoy it. It does put out some heat but it’s not going to keep you warm if it’s under 50° and if you’re not in a screened in porch. We have a low, uninsulated aluminum porch cover and some outdoor shades that we can lower to knock the wind down that help raise the temp of the back porch a little. But as you can see from the pic, we can turn the flame down and use it as a table without the worry of things getting too hot.

Over your budget right now but I’ve had my eyes on this

LINK

Propane fire pit on top, propane heater below, nice looking table top (and can still use the lower heater with it as a table). Seems super functional, just gotta find the best deal on it and pull the trigger

I also like the hidden tank and controls

Not in your price range. But the build and quality of this has held up great.
Rooms to Go - Outdoor

Puts out enough heat for south Louisiana and is large enough for eating and entertaining.

I’ve had this one for just short of 5 years. Nice when the kids want s’mores and mom and dad don’t want to smell like campfire.
