I wanted Thibs back when we hired Gentry instead.

Oh no!!! not two rotation players!!!!
I'm sure Lebron uses this excuse when he loses all the time.

Knicks won b/c they wanted it more than we did, and they executed their game plan, something we are incapable of doing for half a game, much less a full 48 minutes.

AD said it best, watch how much space Randle has to operate when he backs someone down, and then watch the wall of defenders Zion has in front of him anytime the ball is in his hands. And we are the ones that shot 21% from 3 while our opponent shot 51%.

If you love Zion knee injuries, Thibs would have been the ultimate hire.

Both of those guys would be playing huge minutes if they were on the Pels this season.

I mean I understand your following points and agree with you that we got outplayed. But for a team that has had problems with depth and whose bench has been getting crushed all year, being down a starter and 2 rotational players is going to hurt more than normal.

Included in this story:

Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, NAW and JJ Redick have accounted for 306 of the Pelicans’ 595 total 3-pointers this year.

That’s more than half of team’s 3-point production out of the lineup. Not great.

We have two healthy guards and zero shooting.

This place is the rant.

and i get it too. Not having Lonzo is a bigger deal than Hart/NAW. Of course it hurts us not having those 3 guys.
This wasn't a game we were fated to lose b/c of that.
we got out played and out executed. it happens.

I'm just not into excuse making. We had the two best players on the court last night. We should win, but, it's the regular season and you can't win them all, so, on to the next game. At least SAS and Memphis lost too.

I love that we're comparing LeBron to Zion and BI, but when you say this...

The Knicks had a few guys just drilling 3pt shots all game on us, and we don't have anyone that can do that. NAW and Lonzo and to a lesser extent Josh Hart are huge factors to spacing, so please Teddy, when we're out gunned 21% to a team that shot 51% and lose by 10 in a game that was much closer than that for 3.5 quarters, yeah, not having your major 3pt guys out there makes a fricking difference.

You're a miserable poster. We could've won last night and you would've just picked something else to bitch about.

It's almost like we started a guy that was on the bench for 80% of the year and played a rookie pg major minutes!! No way the outcome changes by adding a high volume 40% 3pt shooter!

Anytime time you see some troll comment like this it's always the same. Some jerkoff with way too many posts who spends all day on the OT Lounge and Political talk making cringe comments.

Not sure what people are expecting here. We went into the season with very little depth and it's gotten worse with the key injuries. We easily have worse depth than we did last season. We won't be able to go very far without a proper bench that includes shooters and credible defensive specialists.

We're playing a bunch of end of the bench scrubs and some here still expect to win every game.

I preferred Thibs to Stan, but this is a fair point for the other side.

Randle was never a cast off.

I didn't realize how good his shot is now
