What do ya'll think is best - 36" Single door with sidelights & transom OR 32" double doors?

for most houses, I'd say the 36" single with sidelight and transom
the double doors could work, but they need to be unique doors with an impressive entry way

Double doors look nice but never seal good. Especially inswing.

If you get double doors, factor in the costs of buying two wreaths for every holiday that your wife will make you buy(or at least mine does)...
I have double doors. We have some issues with one of the doors swelling during high humidity and difficulty shutting at certain times(I've replaned and resealed the door once before), but I figure this could happen with any wooden door, not just with double doors. I don't particularly have any sealing issues that I notice. But my door is recessed into the house a fair bit(front porch/+adjacent brick wall). I've certainly read the stories of people having sealing issues otherwise (light/wind) that just may be a non factor to me given that mine is recessed.

Double doors are a godsend when you are moving furniture in and out. I think they can also look rich and elegant.

we are doing 30x96 double wood doors.

Transoms are as expensive as a door itself, which is crazy.
Go double doors and don’t look back. They are incredibly useful

In this humidity consider fiberglass door. Lasts longer

Our single door does that, but it is a very old wooden door.

Yea even wood doors are expensive. Luckily we found a guy selling ones we can refinish for $400. The same doors bought brand new would've been $3500.
