I suppose it's a good thing they killed him then, right.

We better just go ahead and shoot anyone who commits a crime since we live in minority report. Never know who is going to hurt someone, right?

Does anyone have an example of someone being shot and/or killed when not doing either of those?

There are plenty of examples of people shot by the police when they didn’t “comply” because they were deaf, suffering from a insulin/ other prescription drug reaction, did not speak English, mentally handicapped, etc Goggle any them, not hard to find.

On July 15, 2017, Justine Damond (née Ruszczyk)[2] a 40-year-old Australian-American woman,[3] was fatally shot by 33-year-old Somali-American Minneapolis Police Department officer Mohamed Noor after she had called 9-1-1 to report the possible assault of a woman in an alley behind her house. Occurring weeks after a high-profile manslaughter trial acquittal in the 2016 police shooting of Philando Castile, also in the Twin Cities metro area, the shooting exacerbated existing tensions and attracted national and international press.[4] On March 20, 2018, Noor was charged with second-degree manslaughter and third-degree murder. Noor claimed self defense. Prosecutors later upgraded the charges against Noor to second-degree intentional murder. In April 2019, Noor was convicted of third-degree murder and manslaughter, but acquitted of intentional second-degree murder.[5] In June 2019, Noor was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison.[6] Damond's family brought a civil lawsuit against the City of Minneapolis alleging violation of Damond's civil rights, which the city settled for US$20 million,[7] one of the largest-ever settlements in a suit involving a police killing.

Also true. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. It can be true that a cop can be a scum bag piece of shite and that the person shot would still be alive if they weren’t also a dumbass.

That’s too hard for some to do. They would rather blame others for their frick ups. Zero accountability.

Typically goes both ways in these situations.

I can think of 2 or 3 just in Dallas.

Isn't Dallas where the broad cop opened up on a guy in his own apartment, that she thought was hers?

Yep. The idea that it has to be one or the other for many people is part of the problem.

First and most egregious that comes to mind.

Then wasn't there an austic or mentally challenged guy in Miami that got aerated? I don't recall the specifics but I saw a snippet of a video of a guy trying to calm him down and po-lice went gung ho trigger happy on him.

Forgot about that one.

Called the cops to report an assault and the cop shows up and blows her away.

HE got behind the wheel again. He didn't flee on foot and get shot in the back. He took possession of a weapon, with a passenger in it, while resisting arrest for an outstanding warrant.

You are being emotional about the situation and not looking at the facts of the matter.

I take ZERO pleasure in this. It is awful, but, that young man escalated this situation, committed the crime to get the warrant and resisted arrest while taking possession of a weapon (car) in the process.

HE did this to HIMSELF.
