Not very surprising, since they are all 5 among the top 11 states by population.

New York (4)
Michigan (10)
Florida (3)
Pennsylvania (5)
New Jersey (11)

(Cali and Texas are 1 and 2.)

think per capita, Florida's rate is actually more like 15th or 20th.

all states in list of five are highly populated and have major metro areas.

Even better, here's an up to date list of the states with the highest per capita COVID fatality rates: LINK

New Jersey #1
New York #2
Pennsylvania #11
Michigan #21
FLORIDA #27

Just for fun...Louisiana #8

For everyone crowing about Florida being on the list. I wonder how many of the positive cases were from people coming down for vacation from those cesspool states like NY? Hard to hold Florida's numbers against them when half the population is in transit and temporarily there.

My guess would be none. Even if you are there for a week, unless you showed up with symptoms, chances are they aren't getting tested until they go back home. Now, it is possible that the numbers are higher in FL because people from those cesspool states are infecting the locals.

Florida's cases are likely predominantly New Yorkers that have fled and brought it w/ them.

Oh I doubt that. In fact, I wonder how many were sent down just to get tested to raise the numbers to make Governor big balls look bad.

Of course Florida will have the most. I don’t see families from around the country flocking to beaches and theme parks in those other states

Florida also just got through with a surge in crowds from spring breakers coming in from states that still have major restrictions on fun.

No it’s never over. We can’t stop now. Just two more weeks.
