I just watched some Sunday News shows and HR1 was being touted by the Dims as the true measure of all Americans having the voices heard and their votes harvested....err, counted. I'm listening to these leftists on the various news programs using their best Sunday pretzel logic as to why HR1 is the voting reform legislation that ensures America survives as a democracy even though the founders based our form of democracy on a constitutional federal republic.

Look, here's the real problem with our current two party system. We have one party (Dim Party) that simply offers handouts to the voters. The Dims generally use the message, wealthy people will be punished and you folks who desire a full teat from big titty mama government will be supplied with unlimited government milk if you'll just vote Dim, this offer is hard to defeat at the ballot box. Who doesn't want free stuff?

What these uniformed Americans don't understand is the more you depend on an ever increasing oppressive/intrusive federal government.....they're slowly but surely giving up their personal freedoms each time they accept more federal government entitlements. Today, I would have to say there's an increasing number of Americans who want to be taken care of and the Dims are selling this notion that government can create equal outcomes by destroying the current economic system and replacing it with an economy that is essentially a model very similar to China's.

What can R's offer? All most conservatives want is an economic environment that allows individuals to apply their God given talents to be successful and prosperous and we want true freedom. There's a lot of devout Christians who are conservatives and they will give their opinions on societal norms but what we won't do is force people to change their behavior by instituting a "cancel culture' because we don't agree with someone else's worldview or religious beliefs or lack of religious beliefs.

In summary, the Dim party offers government giveaways, and conservatives offer freedom through personal accountability and responsibility. What choice will Americans choose? Let's hope it's freedom because the other choice will eventually destroy America.

Freedom. It's really that simple... that's the alternative to what the D's offer... Sadly most Americans don't find freedom desirable anymore.

Freedom takes work and risk. People don’t want that. They want someone to tell them which direction and they want security.

Democrats have a great situation They cheat, then dare anyone to say or do anything about it. The courts won’t do anything about it because they’re too scared a.k.a. chickenshite , the media is on their side, and they control the house and the senate.

In most cases, FREEDOM can require WAR to succeed!

The USA has been fighting for our freedom and way of life for over 100 years!

Now, thanks to the liberal movement, we are being forced to fight our own government for that same FREEDOM and way of life!

The Republicans did quite well down ticket in 11/2020 despite the obvious cheating. This is what gives me hope for 2022.

How did this narrative of ‘only Democrats cheat’ get started? If anything, the last 8 years would lend me to think that both sides were cheating and manipulating the system. Why? Because they both complain about the system and try to change it.

They can’t compete with the cheating.

Nor do they want to.

DC Republicans are very happy to play the Washington Generals to the Dems Harlem Gloabtrotters.

Yea well 700,000 Trump voters stayed home in GA for the runoff. Here's the real truth, Republican voters are lazy as shite when it comes to politics, but not lazy in other areas of life. The left is not lazy about politics but sucks at every other facet of life.

What are Republican voters as a whole doing right now other than bitching behind keyboards? Has there been any major grassroots movement or the like to bring awareness?

Desperate people will always put free handouts over their very own freedom.

It’s a sad reality but when you have more mooches than taxpayers, it will tip the scales.

1. Drop the race-baity rhetoric. A lot of minority families are way more socially conservative than you believe but right wing pundits ostracize them. You're missing out on a huge voter base.

2. Don't run on conspiracy theories. Don't even mention stolen elections because you'll out yourself as a sheep. Stick to policy and verifiable positions. Not a bunch of people who swear they found evidence suddenly rescinding their statements.

3. Engage in good faith. Anyone saying that the dems want to turn America communist have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. The reality is that there are specific sectors like health care where a public option can benefit large swaths of the American population while keeping private policies intact. Be extremely accurate in what you're attacking and don't misrepresent it.

4. Don't shite on handouts when both parties use them at more or less the same rate. Be critical of certain expansions or whatever but understand that some programs are necessary regardless of what party you're in. A more empathetic appeal to the people who need some supplementary support will go a long way. The vast majority of the population wants to work and contribute to society. LINK

As for political characteristics, Democrats are more likely than Republicans or independents to have received poverty or unemployment assistance (47% vs. 34% and 41%, respectively). But Republicans and Democrats are about equally likely to have gotten Social Security or Medicare benefits (32% vs. 33%). Independents are significantly less likely (25%) than partisans from either party to say they benefited from entitlement programs for the elderly. Despite conservatives’ opposition to many poverty programs, there is virtually no difference in the lifetime participation rate of conservatives (40%), liberals (42%) and moderates (42%) in these programs. Also, conservatives are more likely to have gotten Social Security and Medicare (34% vs. 27% for liberals and 25% for moderates), a difference driven by the fact that self-identifying conservatives are the oldest of the three groups. Multiple Benefits About a third of all Americans (32%) have benefited from two or more entitlement programs over the course of their lives: 17% have been helped by two programs and 15% have received assistance from three or more. In general, the characteristics of those who have received entitlements from multiple sources echo the overall demographic pattern described earlier: more likely to be black, female, have a lower income, identify with the Democratic Party or live in a rural area. A plurality of blacks (44%), but 33% of whites and 23% of Latinos, received entitlements from two or more of the six programs tested in the survey.5 About a quarter of all blacks (27%) received entitlements from three or more programs; in contrast, 14% of whites and 11% of Hispanics received help from as many government sources. (As a group, Hispanics experience similar levels of economic hardship as blacks. Their lower utilization of entitlement benefits stems in part from their relative youth and in part from the fact that some are in the country illegally and thus unable to receive benefits.)

You’re not serious? Voting is a joke. Repub voters just showed up in historic numbers and watched the election get stolen.

Voting is for suckers.
