What’s a weird quirk about your life?

I think except for one 3 week trip to Europe I’ve never been out of the American south for longer than a week. And I’d consider myself relatively well traveled likely to the average American. Pre Covid (and honestly even during) I’d probably go on half a dozen trips per year to various other states and regions. The only place I haven’t been in America just yet is the the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, and Alaska. Every other region generally though I’ve visited multiple times. Just never really for more than a week before I go home save for my trip to Europe.

I consider myself pretty familiar with the north and northeast especially through my friends and family who live there but I’ve never really experienced it long form like living there or staying there for longer than a typical vacation.
