Jean-Paul Gaster of Clutch
Dude is a monster and can play damn near any style and has a feel/style unlike anything I've heard in a "hard" rock band.

Patrick Wilson from Weezer is an absolute monster behind the kit. I still find him one of the freshest writers in all of rock drumming.
I saw Weezer's tour with Blink where he played guitar and Freese played drums... guess who was better
I think I've seen Freese play drums live with 5 different bands, all different genres

Matt Chamberlain is one that immediately springs to mind. His work with Fiona Apple is really creative.

His work on Robbie Williams 'Intensive Care' album stood out.
I thought that Danny Seraphine from Chicago was underrated. His subtle fills on songs has a very jazz feel to it

100%. Hes a monster. People dismiss the members of Slipknot because of the masks and genre but they have some very talented guys in the band.

Ray Luzier
He played Drums for The Nixons about 20 years ago and got to meet him after a show. One of the nicest most down to earth guys I've ever met.

Not sure how being considered by the drumming community to be one of the best drummers in the world makes you

Yeah, he's very well known by musician's as one of the best touring and session drummers alive, but casual music fans probably don't know who he is unless they are into The Vandals, or are huge Nine Inch Nails or Devo fans.
