re: List of things black people can’t do because they lack ID’s.

Where are the examples of people who lack the opportunity to get an ID? Please explain exactly why they lack that opportunity and why most of them are black.
Person HAS a driver’s license. He gets an expensive citation for speeding and is unable to pay the fine. His license is suspended, and he no longer has a “valid photo ID,” Why can he not pay that fine? Because he is poor and lacks the liquid resources.
At this point our Person could be a member of ANY race. But the simple, objective fact is that Blacks are statistically over-represented amongst those who are so-poor as to find themselves in this untenable situation. There are hundreds of reasons this might be the case, but it IS an objective fact.

Driver's license is not the only form of government id. If the government suspends your drivers license, they can issue a photo id. Maybe send it to your home of record where you're registered to vote...wait.

A dl is one form of state issued id, not the only one.
My state offers a state id, free of charge, for voting purposes.
Its ok if you wish to side with the left on every issue, but its not ok to advocate a lie like you did here.

It really is that simple.

It is. The Feds waste billions every year. Just set up a Fed program to issue free ID’s to anyone and everyone who needs one, and eliminate the Dem excuses from here on out.

At no point have I EVER said that it is impossible to obtain an ID of any sort. Hell, I have supported Voter ID.

I'm sorry, I thought you were giving an example of someone who couldn't obtain an id... That's not what your example was? So silly of me.

Why do blacks accept the status of neglected child that needs hand holding and diaper changes?
Isn't this offensive to their community?
One of the earliest lessons from my father: Son sometimes you will fail and sometimes life is not fair. Do not let that define you. Take responsibility for your life and do something about it. Find a solution, make a plan, and implement it. Rinse and repeat if necessary. I guess this was part of my white privilege.

Are you a Texas Horn alter?
Did that table have any figures other than race?

What makes this a fact? Because you say so? And seriously, I've listened to this same "lack a government ID" BS for 40 years. I don't see how with all the bitching, moaning, and activism around this claim that it can still possibly exist.

1. Your example is not one of someone who lacks an opportunity to get an ID. In your example the person had an ID and then chose to break a law which resulted in possible losing that ID. So it’s not a relevant example. Please post an example of someone in America who lacks the opportunity to obtain an ID. That was your claim.
2. An irresponsible person committing a criminal act and then facing consequences for that act is neither an example of voter disenfranchisement nor racism. Further, clamoring that we must not secure our election process because some willing criminals may be disenfranchised is insane.

Untenable situation? So poor they have to speed? The person had an ID and a car and chose to ignore the law and violate the speed limit and got caught and then has to deal with the consequences of their own criminal actions. Why did you ignore all of the personal responsibility and all of the facts just to jump to an incorrect racial conclusion?

There’s roughly 13,000,0000 African Americans that receive snap benefits today. There’s 41,000,000 African Americans in the US. That’s 31.7% of African Americans on Snap. There was no error but I give you an A for deflection.
So again, do you actually believe 25% of AAs don’t have an ID?

Imagine how much graffiti there would be if they could all buy spray paint without an ID.

I have said nothing more than restatement of the objective fact that a proportionately-larger number of Blacks than Whites lack a government ID.
quote:The same study found that among the poorest Americans (under $25k per year) Blacks are approximately twice as likely as Whites to lack either a driver license of passport (the most common forms of photo ID).
Rates of identification-ownership are highest among White individuals, while other ethnic groups disproportionately lack necessary photo ID. Thirteen percent of Blacks, 10 percent of Hispanics, but only 5 percent of Whites lack photographic identification.
Lower-income individuals are less likely to have photo ID. Twelve percent of adults living in a household with less than $25,000 annual income lack photo ID, compared to just 2 percent in households with over $150,000 annual income.
Young adults are less likely to have photo ID: 15 percent of 17-20 year- olds lack photo ID, and 11 percent of those ages 21-24 lack photo ID.

My response continues to be there is no excuse for it no matter the income level. You know two years ahead of time that you need ID in states that require it. There is no reason it can't be acquired in that period of time if you intend to vote.
Period. I don't care about your trolling argument about who has it , there is no valid reason not to.
