So the same law enforcement they wanted to defund and put social workers in their place, now they want to enter your home without a warrant and confiscate your guns?

May as well interpret this 'Biden call on SCOTUS to further erode what little Constitutional cred they have left. There is NO WAY that Trump Nation accepts the confiscation and essentially nullification, of their God-given Right to defend said Rights from a tyrannical (Democratic) Government.

That is the whole thing in a nutshell. It's all or nothing. They can cheat in elections, open the Border to import more votes out the wazoo, punish citizens via the Monetary System, disempower Civil Law Enforcement to allow criminals to run free and cancel any and all who openly voice their disapproval...but the day they try to forcible take the guns, is the day the shooting starts. And that stupid fence will be adorned with the heads of the idiots who built it.

The Left had better take their foot off the gas; and let things settle. In conscience, as a society, we are moving toward their 'social justice' goals, and the zeal of the Extremists who are driven by envy, class/race hatred and narcissistic virtue signaling are going to ruin it for us all.

Oh well. Live and learn. We are either eternal Souls or meaningless Matter Mulch.

Does this mean a cop can kneel on someone's neck for 9 minutes as long as it is within "the community caretaking exception"?

Asking for a friend...

Great way for a lot of cops to be shot. Sad.

If they are entering homes without a warrant and without permission of the home owner and there is not an active and obvious crime being committed, then they deserve to be shot for being stupid...

Defund the police, amirite?

Let's not be bothered by the facts.

Husband and wife had fight in their home. Husband pulled gun and sounded suicidal. Wife left house and called police, asking for welfare check on husband. Police and wife returned to home, and police eventually took husband into custody for psych evaluation. Police also took possession of firearms. Wife gave permission for all of this.

In short, OP is a very, very bad description of the case, designed to rile the villagers.

So just straight up door to door confiscation if you have bought a gun in the last couple decades? That would be crazy.

What's the legal piece about in state gun manufacturers being separate from all this, when bought from them?

No-knocks on people who have committed zero crimes and are armed to the teeth will not have a good outcome for anyone involved.

Yeah. I’m sure Biden and Co have the best of intentions with this recommendation.

If you enter my home without my permission, it will be the last thing you ever do.

We are a packed court away from the empire falling. And we may be there anyway with these sellout lawyers Trump put on the court.

I agree, include them all...

Furthermore, officers then told Mrs. Caniglia that her husband had consented to the seizure, and she led them to the two handguns they owned, which were then seized.

The husband never gave consent...

In short, the cops suck, again...

Yeah because governments would never twist a bad ruling to their own advantage, right, Counselor?

Sure, this is the basis for this particular argument. But do you really think that in a year, after setting precedent, that the people in power wouldn't turn around and call for door to door confiscations? It would already be rules legal by this case.

Play the tape to the end.

When you've robbed the populace blind, put the national debt to forever math, in serving your 13 Phoenicians/Central Bank/Fed Reserve overlords, and now print endless fiat paper currency, with hyperinflation at hand..

You better disarm the minions.

Local LE won't do this; they have a community of friends with children that they have to live amongst. It'll take some sort of a hand-picked 'outside' (Jack Boots) to attempt this. And Local LE will not be able to abide that.

"He that leadeth into captivity...goeth into captivity". I.e., that which one condones, one becomes a party to, and bears the spiritual karma and worldly consequences. Enablers in power will be held accountable; like the Nazis who tried the "just taking orders" plausible deniability thing...it won't fly in truly Just court. We'll see how long it takes for Justice to prevail.
