I feel like it's still to early for a redraft. We haven't even finished one season yet

Ant would still go top 3. He’s starting to put it together.

Pretty much this, not to mention that list is pretty terrible.

Well, this is the poster that thinks RJ Barrett is better than Zion.

You're right but his shot selection is trully a redflag...I hope Finch and Rubio will help him to have a better shot selection.

RJ has really improved in his last 15 games in playmaking, shoot and when he attacks the rim.
Zion is very good (i just ranked him 2 behind Barett, I did not put Zion 10 or 11 either lol) but he still has a playstyle where i'm not sure it's suited to the current nba, especially in the playoffs.
He will have to have a reliable shooting. Moreover, he finishes all the time left hand when he attacks the rim. He will have to have a reliable right hand also.

The amount of sheer dumbassery and complete stupidity in that post is utterly staggering.
RJ Barrett is an inefficient second option with 52% true shooting. Zion is one of the most dominant scoring threats in the last 25 years shooting 65% true shooting and getting baskets basically at will against anyone. Not suited for the current NBA? GTFO. He shoots left because he fricking can! Because no one can stop him from going to his dominant hand, but he absolutely can finish right if he wants to. He’s done it plenty. Zion is a mini Shaq with point guard skills and vision. LMAO that such a player can’t exist in today’s NBA.
Frankly if I’m doing 2019 over, I’m not sure I wouldn’t be taking DeAndre Hunter, followed by some combo of Tyler Hero, and potentially Cam Johnson or Keldon Johnson over Barrett. With Zion and Morant still going 1 and 2. I might still slight lean Barrett at 3 for upside still, but on this team RJ is a third option. So how you then turn around and claim he is better than Zion and Morant blows my mind.

How do you have Edwards at 8? He just went off for 42 the other night.
Posted on 3/20/21 at 1:33 pm to Bronc
As i said, i'm worried about Zion in playoffs...We will see in playoffs what he will do.
Doing a redraft is also about what a rookie can do in Playoffs.
And RJ has really improved (i watched some Knicks matches). He plays better than before.

Just stop posting. It gets worse each time you try and defend yourself

Lmfao.

Yes because Shaq-like interior players that don’t rely on refs but have point guard skills are so hard to imagine working in the playoffs....
Compared to a rather inefficient slasher that is both a poorer around the rim player and not a great facilitator.
And RJ has improved, no denying that, but it’s not even clear he is going to be better than 2-3 other forwards in his class, let alone the top two that are both scoring leaders of their respective teams.
And the more I think on it, and taking your premise, why would I not rather have DeAndre Hunter in a playoff series than Barrett? A guy that can guard 1-5, is a more efficient shooter, and despite much lower usage averages the same points and FTA’s as Barrett. Essentially the same rebounds and assists. Has a 64% TS vs Barrett paltry 52%? Seems to me that given neither is qualified to be the first option on a playoff team, I would want the model role player wing vs the inefficient guy that wants the ball in his hands.

Damn, well if he's playing better than before I guess this is an open and shut case.

Edwards has dispelled a lot of the knocks on his game.
Kid seems to have a lovely attitude too.
No lower than 2, and probably equal 1 with Melo

But the 2020s NBA is a completely different NBA compared to the 2000s NBA of Shaq's era.
The last old-fashioned FP pivot like Shaq (thus without reliable shooting off the racket) to go to the nba final was Howard and that was 12 years ago now...
Now a pivot must defend well against guards since there is much more pick and rolls compared to before and Shaq was bad to do it...
Shaq was bad at FT (52,7% in career)...
Today, all the dominant pivots like Embiid (80,4 FT% in career and 85% this season), Jokic (83% in career and 86% this season), Adebayo (83% this season) are good at FT.
Now all the dominant pivots are good at least at both free throw and mid-range shooting, Shaq wasn't...
So not sure Shaq would finish the matches at this current nba. Shaq wouldn't be suited to the current nba...
Zion has no reliable mid-range and free throw shooting even if he has progressed in these aspects.
He will have to have a reliable shooting if he wants to succeed in PO.

Yes why not, put Hunter 1 in 2019 draft isn't bad.

This is one the dumbest, if not THE dumbest thread I have seen in ages on not only Pels Talk, but all of TD, and that is REALLY saying something.
Each post you make, eliminates more and more doubt that you were dropped on your head as a child. Get checked out.
RJ will never be uttered in the same breath as Zion 10 years from now, unless you're talking about their Duke careers or the fact they were drafted the same year.
Ja and Zion are both infinitely more talented and valuable than RJ. So again...
