selling on ebay question

I just sold my first item on Ebay and there's 3 long links. One of them says my paypal address is not confirmed. But in the middle of all the jibberish is the buyers name and confirmed address. Can I just take this to the local UPS store with his address and mail it off?

Make sure you get tracking and provide that to eBay.

I learned yesterday that a childhood friend of mine who has a teaching degree is now a reseller on EBay makeing more that he did as a teacher.

Yes. You can then enter the tracking number on Ebay.

That's Mercari, not eBay.
It's pretty simple but eBay just changed their seller payment policy. Before, the funds used to go to your Paypal account, which you received a notification when buyer pays. I have the eBay app on my phone and it chimes as a cash register when payment is received.
Now eBay deposits the money automatically to your bank account. I think that takes longer, but oh well.
Regardless, when you receive payment, you ship to the address provided by buyer. I always provide a tracking number.

Shipping through Ebay is stupid cheap so keep that in mind if you plan on selling items more often. It also communicates the tracking info directly to the buyer.
Also seems that Ebay is trying to distance itself from Paypal. They now send funds to your checking account instead of your paypal. I prefer this as it saves a little in fees.
