Don't have very high expectations for this show, but ill still likely watch every episode. I have watched every piece of content the MCU has put out, unless you count Agents of Shield

Shoutout to Delacroix, LA and LSU.

This seems less fun than I thought it would be. The tone is dark and both men are struggling. Lol at falcon not getting a loan. That was a bit ridiculous. Employed veterans are hardly ever turned down for those things especially with collateral.
ETA: I did like the LSU shoutout.

He banker made a good point that half of the world came back at once and no one has income.
I have high hopes for the show after wandavision. Hell most people hated the first two episodes and look what it turned out to be. I enjoyed this because it gave grounded our characters that we haven’t spent much time getting to know in the mcu yet

Sam could have called Pepper Potts and got as much money as he needed to help the family. The Stark Company isn't exactly hurting for money.
I actually like the idea of character driven stories that don't rely on super hero gimmicks. These are two emotionally damaged guys that need each other because few people have walked in their shoes.
I think the opening sequence with Sam being a solo bad arse was a nice way to get the fans invested.

I liked the LSU reference.
Really good first episode. That action sequence to start it was pretty fantastic.

LSU pennant on wall in opening scene. Just started watching so not sure if this is the LSU reference.

It was good. However the Avengers couldnt get endorsements or jobs as political aor terrorist analysts on TV to make a lot of money??
Seems like they would be in high demand but maybe they feel it would be selling out?? Thought it is kinda unrealistic they would be broke but still like the show

It's not, you're gonna get another one near the end!

I’m with you guys, enjoyed everything but the whole loan thing. There are probably several avenues that could be taken.

Was not anticipating it to be so #woke...

Then banker said the requirements or whatever for the loan were tighter now after the blip.
This show seems pretty character driven. Thats very a very mature path to take when they could easily have just gone with more focus on action. These guys are both in a rough spot, I imagine this Captain America announcement is what will bring them together.

Well I also think that the point of that scene was to show that being an Avenger as part of your credentials doesn’t mean a hill of beans if you aren’t being backed by somebody like Tony Stark

Assuming the Super Soldier Serum is anything like what Red Skull and Steve, or Emil Blonsky used it will have a negative impact on Walker’s mentality. He’s going to screw something up.

Are we sure it isn't the Infinity Formula?

Yes i hope they make him a good guy whose head is fricked up by the serum like they did Nuke on the Jessica Jones show.
There has to be a reason we dont just get an army of super soldiers
I hope we dont get another Director Hayward of Sword generic villain for Walker

The explanation of “a whole bunch of people re-appearing, money got tight” sorta makes sense.
After half the world disappeared, governments probably begin removing money from circulation to prevent runaway inflation. Now that all those people have come back, and the series taking place mere months after the comeback, there just hasn’t been enough time to return to the pre-Thanos status quo economics.

Not trying to be rude Hoodie, but why haven’t you watched it yet? I feel like the past year would have been a good time to catch up.
No offense taken, brother. It's very difficult for me to catch a movie, let alone a 3-hour-epic that my wife's got no interest in. I've got a couple of kids who play Nintendo Switch constantly and as a result, Daddy gets very little TV time.

We already have established precedent with pre-Abomination Blonsky.
