This was true 20+ years ago. Starkville has come a long way. It’s actually decent now. The cotton district is pretty cool. It’s not a bad place to spend a weekend. Don’t knock it until you see it.

That was a joke Skip used to tell. Also had one about going to State's coaches home and it not being level because some of the tires were low.
