Size wise That would have a been close to a marquise hill DE in 2002.

I assume he’s a dt in the D Jones 4-3.

I still haven’t seen the write ups on Daronte’s 4-3 like I saw when aranda got here. Publications produced a lot of ink on his 3-4 and sometimes having only 1 or 2 down linemen.

Anyway, I thought that was notable.

Lol me too.

But it’s on the roster. Hell be 64 and 7/8ths by combine time.

Huge man! And he moves very well on his highlights - no laziness there. In that respect, he reminds me of Rashard Lawrence. That guy was 100% every play.

Did y’all watch the video from yesterday?

He is a very very large human and appears taller than any DT in recent memory

6’6 may be accurate

He was definitely towering over the other DLs.

There’s good and bad news there. The good news is he’s almost perfectly built for a DT with the height and weight, and can add weight into his legs. The bad news is his legs are where the weight is lacking, don’t get me wrong, he’s got monster legs, larger than any of ours, just not elite DT legs yet. But like I said, give Moffitt a year there and dude could be All-American status.

How does that work against a 6-3 330 guard?

There is going to be a leverage issue unless he plays outside right?

Huh

That’s a good thing. They don’t have to look huge to be strong. He has athletic ankles and a athletic lower half & you take that any day over some kinda thickness you are worried about

Oh hell yea I love those types of DL players that are in the game for football for 20 years eating qb’s.

Stood in line at a restaurant in front of Maason Smith and the freshman QB Nussmeir a few months ago in BR. Smith looked at least 6’5. Very tall and overall just a huge dude. The QB looked about 6’1 and skinny as a rail. Only recognized him because of a cast on his hand after the td thread about him having surgery.

He’d be listed at 6’7” in that case. It’s very important for LSU to make you think players are an inch or two taller than they are.
