Born and raised in Huntsville. It was accepted that we would be fricked from day one.

No shite. Then, add in a nuclear plant and numerous chemical plants within spitting distance and we were properly fricked.

I was halfway between you and Bham. I’d have seen the mushroom clouds from both before dying a slow agonizing death from radiation poisoning or an even slower and more agonizing death from starvation and exposure during the ensuing nuclear winter.
