California is the largest agricultural producer in the country by far. But keep thinking it’s all tech companies.

Say what you will, but there isn’t anywhere in Louisiana I’d rather live than California.

California does some ridiculous shite. But somehow this board still exaggerates when it comes to California.

How, exactly, is posting actual news stories involving what is going on in California exaggerating? They are actual news articles, not made up shite.

Yet our gummit has still somehow managed to put the state in the top 5 of debt per capita.

The Five States with the Highest Debt per Capita

1. Washington DC: $88,450
2. Hawaii: $74,230
3. Colorado: $73,890
4. California: $73,400
5. Maryland: $72,310

California’s obsession with itself and insistence in telling others how to think and live is interesting.

Some internet companies choosing to base in California doesn’t make the state an overall good place
Just like some loony legislator proposing an absurd law that will never pass doesn't make it an overall bad place.

California is beautiful. The California mind is cracked like Humpty Dumpty. Their elected officials are determined to keep it scrambled. California voters or their digital representations are completely hopeless. This is my conclusion, whether or not this particular loonie law passes. There are plenty of others that did before, and more lining up yet to come.

And this wins the award for both "dumbest things on the internet today" and "clearly has no concept of how this works".

California could not be #5 if it were just a dumbass country of woke folks to the west of a bunch of mean 'ol republicans. A very large chuck of their tech/STEM economy is derived from 60+ years of computers, which is derived from 100+ years of aircraft manufacturing. All of the above is supported by east coast money and the Pentagon.

You take out the east coast money and Pentagon and you have a bunch of turds with a paper airplane in their left hand and a slide rule in their right. No google, no facebook, no DC9, no space-x, no salesforce.com, etc... I'd be writing my comments on an Amiga or a pager.

Also, without the ability to borrow money like the USA and be protected by the USA, there is no way California could maintain the trajectory they do.
