Random Not CSB airport story

Not really sure why I’m sharing other than I’m bored and my flight was delayed like 5 hours...
I was in a line in the airport and this older man (65?) went into the wrong line at the security check. He was in the line for airport employees I believe e. This very nice lady was trying to help them and it was so awkward and I felt bad for both of them.
It was very obvious the dude had no clue what was going on. He looked completely bewildered. He walked up to this terminal and started messing around with that. The lady walked up and was trying to walk him through the process. And she told him he had to put his finger prints in to sign in through that security line, etc
Then the dude went on a rant “what, I don’t want y’all to have my fingerprints, they’re mine. What, do I need passports and such? What are y’all trying to do? Now I was in the military for 24 years and I didn’t join so people could ask for my fingerprints.”
The lady was kinda shocked. But then she explained he was in the wrong line, he started mumbling to himself and walked off to join the correct line
I felt bad for both people but more for the lady who was trying to help him out and he ranted at.
I figure the old man probably posts on here lol

More of an SSB (*sad). Feel bad for the old fella, but I have no doubt the neighborhood kids stay the hell off his lawn...

That’s why I put it’s not a cool story in the title. To warn people. People click with risk but they were notified of that risk

I'm gonna side with the "older man". I don't give a flip if he went to the wrong line or not.

I'm suppose to know what that means?

There were no sides....I do think he wasn’t patient though. He reminded me of my dad.
Everything will be fine

Interesting story. I suppose if I didn’t habitually fly private I’d experience such things.

Oh, S! It must be a harrowing experience flying commercial these days!

You'd think they would keep a closer eye on President* Biden.

I flew private once when I dated a Jewish girl whose family lived in Garden District

When Sister graduated from Tulane, Mother encouraged me to amalgamate myself with some Jewish broads. What mother says goes right? Our OT Lord and savior TulaneLsu would be proud

While this is still funny, it could have served as a great apolitical joke that everyone could laugh about regardless of who they voted for....
But now it brings in the negative things like those folks who are obsessed to the point of complete cognitive dissonance.
Biden is old and makes a lot of flubs and gaffs. Trump would blatantly lie about things he said the day before. Obama said if I had a son. W mispronounced words all the time. Clinton was a serial philander. People in the Clinton’s orbit have mysterious “suicides” all the time.
This things are funny in and of themselves - not because of the persons position on capital gains.
We, as Americans, need to be able to laugh together at the least. Maybe we can figure out the other, less important crap from there.
So next time this comes up, I’d say just go the clever route...”gee, you think the secret service would keep a closure watch”. That adds to the comedy. There’s nothing wrong with adding “on the president” if you think folks are two slow to get it other than being not as funny. Even “on President Biden” or the colloquial “on ole Joe” would be plenty funny.
