If you think someone's genitals are "evil" (that's not the reason for Muslim genital mutilation but we'll set that aside), then you ARE mentally ill. Ergo, it's the same.

something like 90% of gender dysphoria cases resolve by their late teen years. so even if you assume genital mutilation is a reasonable fix for gender dysphoria it would be unneccesary, and unwanted in 90% of cases after they grew out of their temporary trans phase. the risk-benefit ratio suggests that is an anti-evidence based medicine approach.

Meanwhile this person is pushing for 9 year olds to have medical decision making capacity bypassing parental rights... keep in mind 9 year olds also believe they might get a hogwarts acceptance letter in the mail.

yea IDC if someone is trans, im respectful. But to think a 12 year old can understand even half of the implications of this is laughable at the very best.
