Can anyone here save me some deep diving. With personal experience preferably. I listened to Jordan Peterson be downright evangelical about it a year or two ago and have been curious ever since. I don't have but a few lbs to lose but really curious about some of the other benefits like joint pain and focus/clarity

Is it overall healthy?

Do you basically shite a piece of firewood a few times a week?

Was it difficult eating like a coyote

Is the testosterone boost noticeable?

There’s a baw on the Health board saying he’s had diarrhea for a week now from keto.

It all comes down to calories in vs. calories out.

Thinking it's that simple is a good way to become unhealthy really, really fast.

You can lose weight just as easily following a high carb, low fat diet as you would a low carb, high fat diet. All that really matters is reaching protein targets.

If you want to know a really big reason why dementia is so rampant, it's due to the low cholesterol diet. Our brains need animal fats. If you cut out sugar and white flour from your diet, cholesterol doesn't clog arteries nearly as much. If you avoid meat, you are trading heart attacks for dementia and Parkinsons. The best diet is clean meats and clean vegetables. Stay away from anything in a box, a freezer, or a can.

I tried it for 60 days when rogan was doing it.

Lots of shitting water, but aside from that I cut a good bit of weight and also had a lot more energy with no mid-afternoon crash.

Most of the meat I ate was wild game. Maybe 2-3 meals a week that were from the store. Mostly deer, duck and axis.

It was easy for me because I eat mostly meat to begin with but the runs never really left me so I brought back veggies and carbs.

But that's not what you said. Which is why I said breaking it down to that level of simplicity is bad.

If it's as simple as calories in = calories out, then I should be able to lose weight and remain healthy eating nothing but a high sugar diet of candy and pie.

What I was getting at is that people assume that Keto is some kind of magic diet that allows you to burn fat faster.

You'll lose weight at the same rate eating a keto diet as you would eating a high fiber, high protein, high carb, low fat diet.

I know that, you know that, but some dumbass here is going to read that and decide he can get jacked on twinkies and skittles.

I've eaten mostly carnivore since the new year. I did 2 weeks straight up, meat only. I felt fine the whole time and lost a couple pounds.

Workouts may have even been better
